Bobby Martini Leaves the Pimp My Tune Team

Some of you reading this may know that I have been a member of the Mashed / Pimp My Tune team right from it's infancy way back in 2006.

I have chosen to leave Pimp My Tune. I won't go into reasons - it wouldn't be fair, but things basically didn't work out how I would have liked them too. That's just how life goes sometimes.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAMDOM THOUGHTS !!!!!!

Those of you familiar with my work will know only too well that my good mate Scott Johnson, who produces the regular RamdomThoughts podcast, is quite partial to playing some of my mashups.

Well Scott is in his second year of doing the show and this weekend sees the release of his 100th podcast !!!!! - Yes, thats right 100 shows - all dedicated to mashups !!! - What a bloody top bloke !!

To celebrate this momentus event Scott has bagged over 20 brand new exclusive mashups from some of the world's top mashup producers, all of which have yet to be released. I have contributed a new mash featuring Depeche Mode (well it is Scott's birthday LOL) and Booty Luv. Hear it first only on ramdomthoughts.

Scott my friend. Congratulations on reaching 100. I am looking forward to the next 100 shows and don't you dare quit !!!!!!!

Britney vs Sugababes Video Mash

My good mate Dano won video of the month a couple of weeks ago at Sound-Unsound-Network for this superb video of my recent "Gimme More Suga, Babe" mash.

Bloody good job by everyone involved ;)

Maroon 5 vs Spiller & Sophie Ellis Bextor Mash Up

This mash was first premiered last year on Sim Courtie's Saturday Show on BFBS Radio 1 and was due to get it's first 'live play at 'Mashed' in Croydon in November (but we all know what happened there !!!!)

Since then it has gone through a few tweaks and this version, which Scott Johnson @ ramdomthoughts premiered on show 89, is the 'final cut'. Featuring Maroon 5 on vocals, with a little bit of backing from Sophie Ellis Bextor, and the superb music from Spiller, please relax, sit back, have a martini and listen to........

Mashed @ Tiger Tiger

Just a quick note to remind everyone that 'Mashed' is only 8 days away now. It promises to be a superb night with 6 hours of mashups from some of the best producers in the business.
The whole thing kicks off @ 9pm at Tiger Tiger, Croydon and I'm on @ 10:30pm for a dance filled 90 minutes !
